The world is slowly becoming aware of the massive political/ humanitarian crisis that is unfolding in Somalia and northeastern Kenya. Drought has exacerbated an already hostile situation for the people of Somalia, who have been enduring civil unrest for years.

As a result, streams of Somalis are pouring into Kenya, its neighbor on the west. The refugee camp in Dadaab, KE now houses 500,000 Somali refugees, with more coming in daily. {See a video that one of our pilots took on a recent trip to Dadaab.}
AIM AIR has the privilege of serving several organizations that are responding to this crisis. Additionally, for years we have been supporting AIM missionaries in eastern Kenya in areas that are completely Muslim. These missionaries now find themselves on the front lines of a humanitarian crisis as well.
Please pray for the Church and AIM AIR as we respond to the physical and spiritual need of those in northeastern Kenya.
