Bio:
Jim grew up the youngest of five kids in a Christian home. He became interested in missions through a short term trip to France as a teenager. He spent a year-and-a-half in the Aerospace Engineering program at Iowa State University when God clearly changed his course towards missionary aviation. He completed Moody Bible Institute’s Missionary Aviation program in 1994 in flight and maintenance. God closed the door on flight in 1999, leaving the door to maintenance open, but also leaving Jim confused as to what to do. That’s when God brought his wife Becky into the picture. In 2002, they came to Kenya for a short term trip. About a month after that trip, God confirmed His plan to bring them to Kenya while they were in a car dealership in Rockford, IL.
Jim and Becky, along with their two boys Silas and Micaiah, live in Nairobi, Kenya.
