AIM AIR
is the aviation branch of Africa
Inland Mission. Though AIM traces it's roots back to 1895, AIM AIR
had its humble beginnings in 1975. It was then that a group of
missionaries serving in Northern Kenya determined that their needs
might be better served through a single plane and mission pilot.
Over the years the Lord has blessed AIM AIR. Today, the team of
some 30 pilots and mechanics now operates a fleet of twelve
aircraft, serving the needs of nearly one hundred various
missionary organizations and Church groups throughout 10
countries.
More than just an organization or a fleet of airplanes, AIM AIR is
a unique team of different people working together toward building
God's Kingdom in Africa. The pilots, mechanics, and administrators
who make up the AIM AIR team are missionaries helping
missionaries... serving those who serve.

FAQ
What
is AIM AIR?
We are a Christian missionary organization which serves other
missionaries and the Church in Africa through the use of aviation.
We are part of the larger ministry of Africa Inland Mission.
Why does AIM AIR exist?
We exist to serve Christian missions. In doing so, our purpose is
to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and build the
Church.
Where does AIM AIR work?
East and Central Africa. We operate regularly in at least 7
different countries. Our main base of operations is in Nairobi,
Kenya, with several aircraft based at other locations in Kenya,
Tanzania, and Uganda.
How does AIM AIR operate?
All of our aviation missionaries are volunteers who are financially
supported by churches and individual donors in their home
countries. Our Kenyan staff are employees. Almost all of our
equipment is donated. Missionaries who request our service
contribute toward the minimum operating cost of the airplane they
use.
What does it take to work with AIM AIR?
Pilots and Mechanics need to meet certain technical requirements. There are some
non-technical positions as well. For all our missionaries, a heart
for missions is paramount.
How can I get involved?
You can join us in Africa for a short or full term
of service. You can pray for the AIM AIR ministry. And you can
partner with us through financial
contributions.
