Avgas now costs over $10/gallon in many of the regions in which we fly. These tuned nozzles made by GAMI, will reduce fuel consumption on our smaller planes by about 1.5 gallons per hour. This will save AIM AIR tens of thousands of dollars in operating expenses and allow us to keep our rates as low as possible for as long as possible to those we serve. The GAMI Injectors will be installed in our aircraft along with Graphic Engine Monitors. These will allow our pilots to precisely tune the fuel flow to the engine in flight. These Graphic Monitors will also offer an increase in safety by allowing a constant, real-time monitoring of the status of the engine, often alerting the pilot of a pending issue on an engine well before it develops into an incident or emergency. The cost for these GAMIs and Monitors will be approximately $3,000 per aircraft.
